Why would eBay not be a good way to get it into good hands? This is a desirable, but not rare watch. I bet I have sold 6 of them in the last couple of years and the price fluctuates several hundred dollars on an almost daily basis. There is almost no way a dealer will buy this watch if you list it on eBay, because, if you do a good listing, it will sell for a retail price, not a wholesale price. Therefore it will almost certainly get into the hands of a collector.

I guess I don't know what "good hands" are (aside from mine), but if I had the watch, I would want it to go to the collector who would pay the most money for it.

Anyway, it sounds like a good problem to have.
