I recently aquired a South-Bend, size 16, grade 227 watch serial number 1019407. Would anyone care to hazzard a guess as to when it was made?
It is in excellent condition but does need C&O.

According to the serial number vs. date table in "The South Bend Watch Co. - South Bend, Indiana - A Complete Listing of Serial / Grade Numbers from Beginning to End, Lyle & Donna Stratton, Longmont, CO, 1999, serial number 1019407 was built in about 1923.
