View Full Version : watch case problems
If you are referring to an old screw back case, welcome to the club!
I heard it was from the threads getting worn over the years. Sounds legit!

Yeah, I it is pretty common for the not to line up or be straight up and down. They just get worn.
Has anyone ever found a good remedy for this?

if the alignment is PAST the pendant, then it is probably wear...
If AHEAD of the pendant, it could be dirty threads, a slight nick on the mating surfaces...
cures?
If it is wear... live with it...
if it is not wear, clean it, deburr the mating surface.... or just be happy it is not worn..
