Hi Bill,

Can you post an image of what these look like?

Hi Larry, I wish I could, but I don't have a picture. I saw one of these on eBay six months ago about 15 minutes AFTER the bidding had ended, and didn't think to copy the image. It's basically a plate with long dial feet, the tips of which are interchangeable for size requirements. These feet can be moved about to slip into the movement dial foot holes, and then locked into place on the plate. These 'feet' go through the plate, and the tops have drilled inserts (various sizes) which hold the actual dial feet. It has a centering pin, the lower part of which aligns with the canon pinion, the top of which goes through the center hole of the dial. There's also a centering pin for the second hand, adjustable for distance from the canon pinion.

I have one which I will sell. I'll have to dig it out of my stuff? Charles.

OK Bill, Here it is if you are interested? It's marked on the top, "Dial Foot Repairing Tool, Patented Jan 28, 1891, E.F.B & Co." Here's a link if you want to see what it looks like. http://cmedsker.tripod.com/dft.jpg

Hi Charles, I'm definitely interested, and appreciate your efforts. Email me at watchbill@aol.com when you find it and have had time to decide how much you need for it.
