Hello to the group! My name is Rick Lundquist and Ilive in beautiful Western New York State in Jamestown. I have worked on and collected clocks for over 15 years. I have taken a break from clockwork for the last few years to finish my Master's Dregree (with honors) and now I am back.

Sitting on my bench is a Mauthe Grandfather clock
movement, weight driven, West. Chimes. Case is from the Colonial Clock Co. I believe this to date from Pre-WW2. The case # is 1464 and the movement #seems to be #54. This info is from Tran Du Ly's book on Longcase Clocks-the section on Colonial Man. and the article in the August 2002 Bulletin. It runs well, but I have questions about the movement itself. I think I may be missing parts. I got it cheap from an Estate sale - I think the man tried to "improve" it. It is clean, pivots polished, etc. Can anyone help me with this movement? Diagrams?Repair advice? Thanks so much.

Rick,

If you're still following this message board, do you still have the Mauthe Grandfather clock?
