I am seeking out information on P.S. Bartlett. Greg Frauenhoff has the notice of his death (http://members.aol.com/jmfrauen/bartlett.jpg) from a newspaper which contains a biography but when it comes right down to it, there is little horological info for a guy whose name is found on watch movements from the very beginning (s/n 1001-2600) of the Waltham line through serial number run 27633001-27634000 (1930). Waltham continued to use his name even after he left to help establish the Elgin Watch Company. Does anyone know any more about his involvement with Howard and Dennison?

Jim,

More on Bartlett can be found in Abbott's History of the American Waltham Watch Co.

Greg-

Thanks, I don't have that one but I'll see if the NAWCC Library does.
