I think that I have the same timepiece. It has the winder at the bottom. It is the mechanism from a folding travel clock. Mine is in a three-piece folding leather covered case.

Looks like the logo of the Cross pen company...

How do I know?

I have 400 Cross watches in my warehouse..

Cool piece! JPH

I wondered if it also might be Mark Cross, a dealer in fine leather goods (perhaps the maker of the case?).

Happy Turkey-day to all, and I also have one travel leather cased Waltham CROSS like Jerry has pictured that I picked up at the national this year from a nice fellow from Mass.
