I realise it is highly irregular to use a public Board like this to convey a personal message, but my situation is extreme! I need to contact somebody who may be a frequenter of this forum and whom I cannot reach by any other means.
Last week I received a most interesting and informative message from a Mr. Hugh Watson, an English horologist, about two of the watches on my website. I caught only a brief glimpse of it while at work, and before I could print it, download it or record the sender's address, a particularly nasty quirk in my online mail server arbirarily deleted two pages of unread messages including Hugh's. I am anxious to thank him for his information, and as my site has not yet reached the search engines (or so I believe) it is fair to assume that Hugh found me by way of one of the few message-boards to which I occasionally contribute. Web and e-mail searches have proved fruitless. Hence this message.
