One thing that this board lacks is "stickeys". A few proposals for subjects: " What to look for when buying a vintage pocket watch", "How do I determine the identity of my watch", "Why should I support The NAWCC", "Basic watch maintenance" and "What's a railroad watch". You get the idea. These topics are asked over and over again and some members have excellent cut and paste answers that have been used many times. Stickeys would save a lot of effort on the part of some people and make life easier for "newbies".

Ron, the board does have "stickies" but they are not extensively used. The search facility provides much of the FAQ capability. There is currently a sticky in the Clocks Forum on posting pictures using Flickr.

The moderators and administrator can make any topic they control sticky.

One of the main reasons I brought this up is because of the repeated requests for the same information and I thought that stickies would save some of our prominent posters some time. While I use the find function all the time it is obvious that many don't.
