It sounds as though you have a "private label" or "contract" watch, one that carries the name of a retail organization, rather than the watch company.

It would be really helpful if you could post a picture of the movement (the "works") so that we can see the shape of the parts. It'll also be helpful if you report all of the things that are marked on the movement in case they can't be read in the picture. If you have a problem posting the picture, you can e-mail it to me (as a jpeg file) and I'll post it for you.

I also own an Amidor Bro's watch with a very
similar movement. The movement is made by Longines.My particular one is 16j,adjusted
ser.#573456 open face
