A lot of contributors posted images of fancy dials in a recent thread. I'd be interested in seeing some examples of common to scarce Choo Choo Dials. Here's a relatively common one:

Some Swiss fakes actually had pretty nice Locomotive dials, and of course the really slick ones are on the early American watches, hopefully some of you can show yours off. I've never seen any dials with more modern locomotives, say from the 1930's, if anyone has some, please post.

Here's a picture of a Rockford Choo-Choo dial illustrated in a rare c. 1892 material catalog. If I get a chance, I'll bring my real one home from the bank and post a scan.

Some of the Swiss and NYS are interesting, though. I like yours because the painter added perspective, so the loco almost seems to be coming out of the dial....

It seems to me that Century was a model of Seth Thomas watch and the movements contained that name on their plates. Can you check to see if the dial feet match up to the Seth Thomas hole locations for this model?

Kent...........I only have one 18s ST mvmnt and it takes a dial with 2 feet.....Paul
