Greetings!

I am still in Orlando and finally able to access a computer. I enjoyed the Mart and picked up a couple of nice 92s at quite reasonable prices, a 2 tone 21j Crescent St. being the better of the 2. I saw several fantastic 92s that were not for sale (and would have demolished my budget)but it was great to see them just the same. As to 92s that were for sale, I saw a Riverside and a Royal that were reasonably priced but neither had the proper dial. Both watches were in the 7 million range and below 9 million the dial should read "American Waltham Watch Co." After looking and declining, being asked why and stating politely that they did not have the correct dial, both dealers said "that's the way it was when I got it" which no doubt was true but finding one of those dials is difficult at best. There were quite a few Vanguards (21 & 23j), Crescent Sts (21j) and 845s a some of which were niceley priced but the watches were nothing special. There were also a few ATCs and 2 PSBs. I saw an additional Royal and 2 tone C St but both were about twice what I paid for the C St I bought.

I still can't get over the number of times I will tell a dealer that I am looking for Waltham Model 92s and they will reply, "isn't that a Hamilton?"

My only other observation was that there did not seem to be much in the way of ephemera (something my buddy is into).

All in all, I alway enjoy the Mid Winter Regional
