Mike,
This is an Illinois 18s Bunn Special grade. This watch should say "William G. Earle" or "William G. Earle, Philadelphia, Pa." on the dial and "William G. Earle, Philadelphia, Pa." on the movement. The dial should be a glass enamal dial with gothic numerals, and probably red 5 minute markers.
I hope this helps.

Mike,
You might consider getting the Col. Townscend book with the line drawings or (better yet) the "Beginning to end book" by Roy Ehrhardt.
Study the plate layouts as well as the shapes of the BB, cock, jewels, etc., etc., then, you will learn the particular patterns and be able to identify these quickly. It might prove to be valuable when you are "on the road" or at a chapter meeting or mart.
