I have just got a Welby clock for repair, was this clock made by Hermle? It looks similar to the Hermle 350-060. I would appreciate your comment. Thanks Dan

If it is a balance wheel model with back diagonal hammers then yes it is a Hermle 350-060.

Thank you W.R. and Mark for your reply, now I have a question. The Welby in question has a tooth broken off the strike spring barrel marked G8S. I ordered a #50 Hermle barrel which should the strike barrel for the Hermle 350-060 but they are not the same. Any sugestions.
Thanks again, Dan

Dan, You may be limited in choices if that barrel is unavailable. You could repair the existing barrel, or better still, replace the movement with a new one.

On the German movements, although the movement as a whole interchanges, the parts may not as internal changes often occur over the years. Be especially wary when the part numbers do not match.
