forgive my ignorance but did elgin
manufacure grade 453 watches with
and without winding indicators?
my particular watch ser#20,480,004
is listed in an old serial no. book
as a 453. this list also gives the
model as 19 (from line drawings)
as this watch has a winding indicator.
the "ELGIN WEBSITE" lists grade 453
as model 15.
if elgin did make 453's both ways
does anyone know how many of 9000
453's produced are equiped with
"up and down" indicators?
