Hello Joker,
Pritchard in SWISS TIMEPIECE MAKERS 1775-1975 lists several persons with the name Borand in Geneva. One of them, Louis, supplied watches to the Non-Magnetic Watch Co. in the U.S. and also is known to have made high grade watches. There was another named Ernest with the trademark "EB", in business as late as 1966. A first name or letter for your Borand would help. Sometimes information can be found under the dial. However, if you don't work on watches removing the dial may not be wise.
