I recently bought this watch at auction. I got it for a good price and am generally happy with it. The movement is clean, runs well and keeps excellent time. The engraving on the back cover is some of the best I have seen. But, these hands don't look right. They look too thick and out of proportion to the dial.
Could some of you Illinois experts have a look and tell me if these are the original hands? If not, what should I be looking for to get back to something as close to the original as possible.
Many thanks, Jerry

I don't belive they are they should be some type of spade hands. These look like cheap swiss repo hands for dollar watches. Nice watch.
Jerry:
Besides looking inappropriate in shape, they're way too short. I'm not sure that they would even be right for a 16-size watch, there's no way that they belong on an 18-size watch!

Many thanks Bill and Kent for your very well-informed replies to my query.
