Hi fellow collectors,
These battery electric clocks were made in NY and Buffalo between 1914 and 1930 by companies owned by George Steele Tiffany.
Information on this company and the clocks is negligible however a small group of Chapter 168 members has commenced a thorough investigation into the history and products of the various companies involved.
If you have any information, documents, brochures catalogues, spare parts lists, price lists,company photos of factories,production lines etc we would dearly love to know.
Also we shall begin to compile a register of individual clocks, their model nos., serial nos. descriptions etc and try to cross link this with the company records in order to build up a clock dating database.A clock data spreadsheet form has
been created to compile the data.
