IF you have german marks only (usually a moon type of affair) then perhaps the watch ws cased in Germany. Chances are though that you have a watch that has both german marks AND swiss marks. Many countries required import marks for many years on goods that comae in from other countries. I have owned thousands of watches that had both Swiss AND German marks. Even sold and Elgin recently that had normal sterling USA case marking but AND GErman import marks on it too. These marks are often confused with country of origin marks. Jeff Hess
