If you could post a picture of the movement (the "works"), it would help a lot. Also, please tell us all the markings on the movement in case they don't show up well in the photo.

"L'AIGLON" was a registered trade mark in (1900 - 1901) of a watch brand name used by,
PICARD & CIE, FABRIQUE GERMINAL, SA, La Chaux de Fonds, Paris.
History; The company may have been founded in 1848 as MEYER FRERES
