Serial Numbers For Watches-NAWCC?

Someone listed a site that you were able to match up serila numbers on pocket watches and get information. How does it work? Is it one for each Maker of pocket watches or does it work with any serial number? It just had Waltham watches. How can I gain access for all pocket watches? Very interesting stuff, thanks.

Here is the link to the Waltham Serial Number Lookup (http://www.nawcc-info.org/WalthamDB/LookupSN.asp) site. It is only for American Waltham Watch Co. watches. The serial number to use is the one on the movement not the case.

There is a lookup for Howard watches, but I can't find the link for it at this time. Maybe one of the 149 Members that has a link will post it for you.

Other than these ones, I do not beleive there is any other on line serial number lists.
