I lost many of the glass domes for my collection of torsion clocks due to an earthquake early Sunday morning the third of Sept.I will be able replace the "standard" size domes but I had two smaller domes and one oval dome, the small domes had a hole in the top and I`m afraid they are going to be hard,if not impossible, to replace.I fear that the oval dome will be hard to find also.Any ideas out there?

Hi Rod,
For domes I suggest you check the normal suppliers, Timesavers, La Rose, Merritts etc.
Then if no success try the specialist dome suppliers.

Rod,
Lew from MileHi Clock ran the clock supply business while being employed by a GLASS COMPANY for many years. He has now retired from the glass company. If there is a way to get a hole in the dome, he will know. I think that he told me once that he had purchased the remaining stock from a dome company as well. He probably has some odd ball sizes that he would be happy to part with.
Best of luck,

Rod,
I have one odd clock dome I could send you.
It is 4 1-2 X 7 1-4 with a 1 inch hole.
If you can't find what you need at the stores, let me know.
