Chapter 149's Mentor Program!
Many of the mentors listed here are experts in their respective fields; contact them for questions or help!
Subject: update The Chapter 149 MENTOR PROGRAM, as published in the nawcc bulletin last year, continues to help collectors, non members, newbies, and the collecting community in general abreast of collecting pitfalls, information, and provides additional assistance to everyone. Help and hints has become a daily function.
The chapter is proud of its leadership role in this important (and needed) endeavor.
Chapter 149, The Early American Watch Club founder and president, Jon Hanson, nawcc #8801, is proud to announce the creation of a pocket watch mentor program for incoming and new NAWCC members. Many founding chapter members, as well as long time NAWCC members, have started to collectively participate in a program to assist, familiarize, educate, and protect new pocket watch collectors unfamiliar with the many pitfalls of the hobby.
An outline of talents and expertise has been created with individual members listed below. Contacts for help are signified by (C) which represents the chairman and lead individuals of the respective categories.
Chapter 149 members pride themselves in education and research; members are collectors, researchers, authors, lecturers, and restorers. The chapter does not have marts of any kind. This program is strictly informational and members have been selected accordingly. We look forward to updating these topics as requests arrive.
