National Watch and Clock Museum Receives Grant
The National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia, PA has received a grant of $ 2,815 from the Ressler Mill Foundation to support the development, production, and printing of educational materials for students. The all-new educational materials will be designed to excite children about time and time keeping with dynamic, stimulating age-appropriate materials.
Three student activity packets for students in grades 4 ? 12 will be developed. Local math, science, and history teachers will be involved in the project to insure that activities meet National Education standards. The Education Committee of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors will act as technological advisors. The new activity brochures will be available for student groups as well as families by mid-November.
