kiyoi,

There are at least a dozen sizes of keys for pocket watches. It is pretty much a shot in the dark to try to find the right size right off the bat. Post your location and perhaps there is someone who has a stock of these, or can recommend someone who does. If you live in a larger center, you might look under the yellow pages for "WATCH MATERIALS", or "WATCHMAKER SUPPLY", od "WATCH PARTS". Hope you find one, BUT, before you wind the watch, you MIGHT have it checked out. A key wind watch in the hands of someone who doesn't know much (or anything) about them could be a recipe for disaster! If ever there was a watch that has suffered as a result of the simple act of winding, it is a key winder!

Regards,
Doug S.

kiyoi,

I have several of these and I'd be happy to send you one. But, Doug is right about the sizes, and everything else for that matter. Maybe your best bet is to pick up a complete set. They are auctioned on eBay all the time and can generally be purchased for 10-20 bucks. You can also get them from watch material houses. Now these are new keys, not vintage or antique. If you want an older key, I would still pick up a set of these so you can find out which size is right for your watch, then go on the hunt for a nice older one.

Good luck,
Mike
