i just purchased an 18 size silver(?) hunting watch case that is marked on the inside lid S.D.& co & was told that it was made by the dennison watch case company ~ i wonder if there are any resident experts that could confirm this for me ~ many thanks & best regards

I don't think that's Dennison. It could be Serex & Desmaison, 1876 to 1880-Boston, Mass.
