It will be necessary to post a picture of your watch. Front, back, and movement. You may think it needs two keys because it has two holes in the back, one to wind and one to set the hands. Actually, only one key was intended for both of these functions. Due to damage or long use, sometimes a new smaller key is needed to wind the watch.
By German office in Italy, do you mean a German military officer in Italy? If so, it is unlikely that a German military officer in either WWI nor WWII would use a key-wind, such watches were obsolete at that time.
