Hi,
It is probably the pallet lever is not engaging the escape wheel. This is usually due to forgeting to put it in, or having it cocked so that it won't engage. If it is cocked be careful as you may be embarking on a broken pivot...this is the hardest piece to line up when reassembling a movement..

Hi,
Sounds to me as though the centre wheel is loose on the centre wheel arbor. If it was really loose, the hands would turn as you wind the watch, the spring never really winding. If the arbor is somewhat tight, chances are the arbor will hold up to a point, then let go with the result that the hands spin until the spring runs down. Beyond that, a close examination would be necessary to make any further determination.

Just a guess, but it sounds like the click isn't catching (broken click spring? put back together incorrectly?). I wouldn't wind it any more, for fear of damaging the gears. Did it do this before the cleaning, or only afterwards? (And if it only happened afterwards, I'd think about taking back to the shop.)

The small gear is the center wheel pinion. If your watch has a safety pinion, then it screws on to the center wheel arbor. You should be able to see the threads. I've never removed a regular pinion, but I assume they are pressed on.
But, I thought the hands moved as the power ran down, and I think most of the previous help was given with that in mind.

Mike
