My grandfather had this watch and wanted me to find out some info on it.I was going to stick it on ebay for him , but I cant find any info on it.This watch is missing the hands and crystal cover. It looks like its made of bronze. The face has a roman numerials and a design and there is a building on it with a boat beside it.The back has a canon with an anchor in front of it.Its all etched in.If you open the back cover it has a no 28574 "cylinder escapement four holes jewelled"
It has a place to wind the hands and the chimes the it says " ARNOLD ADAMS LONDON ".Any info would be great and if anyone knows the value that would even be better, let me knowaj@psu.com.I have pics of it.Thanks for all your helphttp://www.villagephotos.com/pubgallery.asp?id_=66087

Arnold Adams was a name used on cheap Swiss imports to the US to give the impression that they were English.

We don't discuss values on this message board, but you are safe putting it on eBay with no reserve and a low starting price. You will not be jeopardizing any valuable family asset.
