Please do not allow any cleaning spray or WD40 anywhere near your clock! :frown:
You will simply rearrange the dirt, wash any lubricant away, and maybe damage the motor, ensuring smoke.
The only, I repeat only, way to clean a clock is to dismantle it, clean the parts properly, and reassemble and lubricate with the correct oils and greases, not just any old thing you happen to have lying around.
But, before you do any of this, you need to find out what is wrong with it. Is there a clock person you can talk to living near you?
Mike
PS - Why are you shouting at us?
Keep ticking
